I BELIEVE....

  1. I believe that through coaching, you will possess the tools and self-awareness that will transform your thinking and ultimately your life.
  2. I believe all your experiences and choices bring us to where we are today but it doesn’t necessarily define our present or future.
  3. I believe authenticity is a way of being that can only be realized when you face the truths about yourself. Dig deep!
  4. I believe that coaching with horses will provide another layer within coaching that will allow you to find a deeper self-connection and personal awareness – one where there is no judgement and you are living in the moment.
  5. I believe that passive leadership is not passive at all but rather is a leader who stands in his/her leadership from a place of integrity and a strong foundation based on values. You are neither tyrant or victim but rather a balance of focused goal orientation alongside a responsive, heartfelt process oriented mind capable of nourishing relationships.
  6. I believe that through vulnerability you will find strength.
My biggest source of joy is being a mother to my two teenage daughters.  They are like precious jewels that are completely priceless.  Humbling at times, but I learn as much from them as I hope they learn from me.  I am also a farmer's wife, an animal lover, a risk-taker, and a change agent that deeply connects with everyone around me.  When my oldest daughter describes me as the "least judgmental person that she knows", I feel I have done something right.

By no means does this represent that I won't challenge you and dish out some tough love as required. I live what I believe and model what I expect from others.

My desire is to always be "real" and authentic and you will genuinely feel the warmth of my heart when we meet.

Soul on Fire was created following an extensive career in the corporate world with experience in Finance/Accounting and Human Resources.  My career and personal life have been built on the values of family, respect, integrity, freedom, authenticity, connection and relationship but when these started to feel out of whack, it was time to take a hard look at the life I was living (and I continue to do that in everything that I do).  I have always believed that if you do what you love, work is never work. However, getting out of bed was becoming work. When I inquired how my family would feel if I were to make the big leap from corporate, it didn't take long to make some decisions when my youngest daughter asked "Does this mean you will be home when I get off the bus?"  I was quickly reminded of my purpose in life and it was time to do a reset.

My "why" has always been my children.  From the minute they were born, my purpose in life became very clear. When I started my own business, my children were my "why". The reason I needed and wanted more flexibility in my life. I wanted to be more available for them as they were nearing the teenage years and now, those years are here. I am so happy to be playing such a huge part in supporting them as they grow into strong, resilient and empowered  women.

My "Why"

Let your Light Shine and experience a soul on fire

Picture
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine.  And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
 Nelson Mandela

Purpose

Becoming a coach has been such a rewarding shift for me. Observing the "aha" moments and transformations, letting go of old stories and belief systems and creating a new life are all aspects of coaching.

Through coaching, you will be supported whether you are a leader in a corporate setting or on an individual basis.  Coaching helped me to see there were other possibilities and that I was deserving and worthy of living a life full of passion and a Soul that is completely on Fire. You can experience this too!

ThE Team

Tater

Picture
Tater is loving, fun, and very sensitive horse who quickly picks up on the energy the client brings to the space. However, he is a space holder and loves to build connection and relationship. Unfortunately, Tater had a tragic accident in November 2018 but his spirit still guides the work that is done here.

Bebe

Picture
Bebe is the "mama bear" of the herd. She has immense wisdom and nurturing ability and often makes the rules. She is the caretaker and for those who are drawn to her, they feel the wisdom when they look in her eyes. It is through her, clients feel like they are looking into the window of their soul.

Hera

Picture
Hera is our second youngest member and loves to push status quo and boundaries both physically and mentally. She will test how committed you are to your own boundaries.

Picture
Dora and Daphne - two of the most devoted and loving dogs I have ever known. Say "truck" and they are in there so fast ready for a travel adventure (even if it is just down the driveway to the barn to unload feed for the horses).
Picture
Liza is new to our family and so her puppy filled energy has created some adjustment in our team dynamics. This shifts and changes daily and while we appreciate her zest for life, she needs some taming from time to time. Intelligence is not questioned.
Picture
Chuckie had a difficult start to life and has been gently handled. Soon, he will join the team as a therapy horse but he will continue to need some tender loving care. He was born here and no doubt will be a part of the team for the duration of his life. He is kind and gentle but he is young and can be playful. Unfortunately, Chuckies challenges forced him to move onto "spirit" horse status.
