Reflexology Services
Soul on Fire’s Equine Guided Wellness Center focuses on a holistic approach to overall wellness and one of the modalities offered is foot reflexology in a spa-like setting. The real passion for reflexology comes from my own journey and modality of choice to return my body to a healthy balance after suffering from a severe burnout brought on by stress. My adrenals were fatigued and I was determined to recover from this through natural means.
What is Foot Reflexology?
All parts, glands and organs of the body are represented as “reflexes” on the feet. Therefore, all parts of the body are represented as a body map on the feet and pressure is used to help the body attain/ maintain its ideal balance.
Reflexology is like a tune up for the whole body. It helps bring all the systems (muscular/skeletal, nervous, circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, lymphatic, reproductive, urinary and digestive) back into balance so everything works together for your best health.
What can I expect when I book a Reflexology appointment?
We will start with a relaxing foot soak and then we will get down to business where you will comfortably lie on a massage table with your feet, back and legs supported in a comfortable position fully clothed (no socks).
Reflexology is a technique that applies gentle pressure to your feet to bring about a state of relaxation and help the body's own healing process. ... If your reflexologist feels tender, sensitive or crunchy sensations on the feet they say it can indicate that an area of your body is out of balance.
Why would I want to receive Reflexology (the Benefits)?
The biggest benefit to reflexology is total body relaxation counteracting the effect of stress. It has been proven that stress puts a strain on our physical and mental well-being. One of the positive impacts of reflexology is to have the mind and body work more efficiently together and to feel better.
